The Sturgeons have developed a sound not quite like anything you have heard before. They'll take you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and bring you back to earth. Twin brothe's Calan and Lucas Hamilton's eclectic brand of honest folk-pop has brought them critical acclaim, successful Canadian tours, radio airplay, and the privilege of sharing the stage with some of Canada's heavy hitters. All the while never losing their signature grit.

Their third and newest album "Black and White" is a continuation of their signature style with knock-out harmonies, anthem choruses, old school recording with a spontaneous edge. These songs are self-reflective, life-affirming and will reverberate in your head and heart.

The Sturgeons are definitely a band to watch as their star rises and they swim on strong.

"Their tunes are charming and they make you want to two-step. If you are going to make folk music, you can only hope to do it as well as The Sturgeons."
Kate Jacobson - The Gauntlet

"Worth listening to - over and over and over."
