Matthew Hornell was born and bred in Newfoundland, where the directness and charm of centuries of storytelling isn't just an art form, it's a lens through which the world is viewed. Andrew Sneddon, raised in the fertile farm country of Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, brings a rural musical feel and keen melodic sense to his resophonic guitar playing.

Matthew provides the lead vocals and a driving rhythm guitar; Andrew offers up a silvery counterpoint with his dobro guitar and smooth tenor harmony that blends perfectly with Matthew's rich melodious baritone. They create a very personal show, with off-the-cuff humour and interesting stories they have gathered from years of touring and performing together.

Individually, Matthew and Andrew have garnered numerous music awards. Matthew has received the Entertainer of the Year, Group of the Year and Rising Star awards from Music Newfoundland. While Andrew has taken home the Country/Bluegrass Recording of the Year, Roots Traditional Album of the Year and Americana Album of the Year awards from Music Nova Scotia. They will be releasing a new album this fall.

"These are two of the brightest talents in Canada. Individually, they are remarkable. Together, they are world class."
