Russell deCarle (born in New Market, Ontario in 1954) is a veteran of the Canadian country music scene. He co-founded, along with Keith Glass and Dennis Delorme, the Canadian country group Prairie Oyster in 1974. They toured and performed on television, but did not record and subsequently broke up in 1978. The band reunited in 1982 adding John P. Allen (fiddle), Joan Besen (keyboard) and Bruce Moffat (drummer) to the group. They released their debut album, Oyster Tracks, in 1986. Since then they have released five critically acclaimed albums and have garnered multiple awards including six Juno awards and six Canadian Country Music Association awards.

After over thirty years with Prairie Oyster, Russell launched his solo career in 2010 with the release of Under The Big Sky. He currently tours and records with his solo group, the Russell deCarle Trio. They play an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, country and western, Latin music, R&B and western swing. The current configuration of deCarle's trio features him playing rhythm guitar instead of bass, Steve Briggs on lead acoustic guitar and Denis Keldie on accordion. They released Live at Loud Mouse Studios in 2014 and are currently working on new album set for release this year.

Steve Briggs has performed, arranged and recorded with a wealth of artists including Sylvia Tyson, Quartette, Murray McLauchlan, Leon Redbone and Carroll Baker, among many others. His popular western swing orchestra, the Bebop Cowboys, has garnered many glowing reviews and accolades across the country.

Denis Keldie is a Toronto based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, singer, composer and studio musician who has played on over 300 albums with artists such as Jeff Healey, Etta James and Doug Riley. He has released four albums with his band The Extras.
